House Rules
Glamour
As characters can be in a couple of scenes keeping track of Glamour can be a pain. So to make things simple your character enters every scene with a set number of Glamour based upon the below.
Half your Maximum Glamour Pool (rounded down)
+1 per every 2 dots in Clarity (rounded down)
+1 per dot in Fair Harvest
+1 has written a glimpse that month
You can also do an appropriate roll to harvest glamour on the first post of a scene to get extra for that scene only. You can only do this in one scene per month though.
Doors
We do not use the doors system - For anything that has "opens doors etc" we will count it as a bonus to dice rolls.
Level 1 to 2 = +1
Level 3 to 4 = +2
Level 5 = +3
Thrown Weapons (Style, • to ••••)
Tags: Movement (Agile)
Prerequisites: Dexterity 3, Athletics 3, thrown weapon specialty
Effects: Your character is trained to rapidly produce small projectile weapons from nowhere and fling them at an opponent with surprising accuracy. Maybe your character is a magician or a festival performer. Perhaps her training is a bit more formal, taking on the structure of a Japanese ryu. You are a dead shot when it comes to all items thrown, be they cards, knives, shurikens, javelins, or tomahawks.
- Spoiler:
- 1: Conceal Weapon (•): – Your character knows how to hide weapons on her person so that they are easily accessible and at the ready for combat. Your character gains a +2 bonus to Dexterity + Larceny checks to conceal weapons on her person. Any weapon of size 1 or smaller that she has concealed on herself can be drawn as a Reflexive action.
2: Always Ready (••): – Your character knows how to throw her weapon with a quick and fluid motion. Add her Athletics score to Initiative when using a thrown weapon.
3: Many Blades, One Throw (•••): Your character throws several projectiles at once at multiple targets and can throw throw a number of weapons equal to her Dexterity with a penalty to each attack equal to the total number thrown.
Drawback: Do not apply defense to attacks in the same round as using this maneuver, if you have already used your defense against an incoming attack so can you not use this maneuver.
4: Always on Target (••••): – Your character can throw weapons with such precision that even hitting the center spade on that Ace of Spades as it is thrown into the air is no problem. This also makes hitting the eye of your opponent just as easy. Decrease all penalties for called shots by half your athletics rounded up (max 3).
