Mantle: That dreadful moment when all oxygen gets sucked away before a violent backdraft, glowing embers dancing in the air in an ever moving flurry, the distant rhythm of war drums and oddly enough the cozy warmth of a slowly setting sun.

Along with the terrible destruction Katrina left behind in 2005 Remy was swept out of the hedge in a savage tempest of her own. When she later was found somewhere in the outskirts of New Orleans, blood-soaked and covered in mud, she was still clutching at the broken off leg of a chair wielding it as a makeshift sword, hissing like an animal and baring her teeth at anyone who dared to come close. Without any recollection of how she got there in the first place, she has been tight-lipped about her life before Arcadia ever since, claiming she doesn’t recall, or at times just brushing over the topic.

Since then Remy has risen from a mere angry court grunt to Summer's and in a sense the whole freeholds’ sole Crimson Champion. In her role as Red Victor of the realm she is used to getting dragged and flaunted around for suitable happenings by all of New Orleans monarchs, mostly accepting her fate with a stoic calm and formal stiffness.

However there seems to be a difference between acquaintances that claim to know her from said occasions and those that have made an effort to meet her outside of official events.

She runs a diner, a place mostly frequented by locals. Although it’s rumored that Remy is a remarkably good cook, the diner is notorious for its terrible service. There she seems to be somewhat sharp tongued but overall more real and relaxed than any official gathering has ever seen her.
