Laws of the Freehold
The laws regarding Members and subjects of the freehold are broken into blessings, endeavors, forbiddances, and sanctions.

All crimes are still considered crimes when committed intentionally even if executed indirectly. All attempted crimes are still crimes, and may be charged as such. Failure to report greater crimes against the Freehold within three days or three days of re-establishing contact with the Freehold is considered breach of the freehold oath.

Blessings are those privileges granted members of the Freehold while endeavors are those things required of them. Forbiddances are generally expected of all members.

Blessings of the New Orleans Freehold
• Members are granted access to Storms End, the hollow of the New Orleans Freehold.
• Members are granted specialized training provided by the courts
• Appointed Officers are granted the authority to speak the will of the Sovereign as per their assignment
• Officers are provided privileged access to Storms End and other resources as needed for their position (Provided by either the freehold or the court dependent on the position)
• Members are provided protection from the True Fae and other great threats

Endeavors of the New Orleans Freehold
• All members of the freehold must maintain the hollow and other properties based upon their rank
• All members must report crimes against the New Orleans Freehold within three days or three days of regaining contact with the New Orleans Freehold
• Officers must complete their duties even where this may require greater effort than expected.
• In times of need any and all freehold members and subjects may be conscripted according to their abilities for the purposes of protection or improvement of the New Orleans Freehold.
• The freehold will endeavour to aid changelings who find themselves in trouble due to side effects from carrying out their duties.

Forbiddances of the New Orleans Freehold
• Providing aid to or serving the True Fae or their direct servants except where such aid or service benefits the Freehold
• Murdering a member of the Freehold.
• Murdering a human.
• Betrayal of the Freehold in a time of need.
• Selling or taking sentient beings into slavery
• Betrayal of the Freehold in a time of peace.
• Stealing from the Freehold.
• Drawing attention to the Freehold from the Fae or from non-fae organizations.
• Revealing fae nature to mortals without permission from the ruling soverign or if they are not available the one of the seasonal soverigns.
• Exposing humans to the thorns of the hedge
• Causing a human or Changeling to be lost to Arcadia
• Malicious use of magics upon a member of the Freehold
• Assault or battery of another member of the Freehold.
• Aiding or abetting suspects or criminals under the laws of the Freehold
• Do not reveal your true nature or the nature of the Lost to another who has not been touched by Arcadia.

Sanctions of the Freehold
• Revocation of blessings
• A greater endeavor or equivalent performed as community service
• A single beating
• Taxation including contribution to the hollow or other assets of the Freehold
• Demotion
• Stripped of all rank
• Multiple beatings
• Temporary banishment
• Forced servitude
• Permanent banishment
• Imprisonment
• A hunt called against you
• Death
